- **Event Description**: Calling all homeschoolers within traveling distance to the Walnut Grove Public Library! Join us on April 22nd for a special swap event and park hangout. This will be like a free yardsale. Please do not bring anything to sell. From 1:00-1:30 we will swap homeschool books, materials and reading books inside the library. From 1:30-2:00 we will swap household items from our trunks. You can bring anything you want to get rid of that will fit in your trunk-baby, kids and adult clothing, games, jackets, toys, kitchen gadgets, electronics (must be working though thanks)-anything you don't need anymore and can pass on. Note: This will NOT be an even exchange. You can take a bunch of things you can use, but please be mindful of how much you take. We want everyone to get a slew of items that you can use and don't want someone grabbing everything so that is not possible.  While they are looking at your stuff, you can "shop" for free their stuff that you need! It's a great way to freecycle! We will be shopping all items aside from books from our trunks, so fill your trunks with all your items! You can even bring boxes for your items and take them out by your vans/cars for display. While the adults "shop", the kids can play at the park benches or a nearby together! After the swap, you can either take your items back home or bring it to my van for donation. I'll take whatever I can fit to donate to the homeless and refugees. At 2:00pm, we will all go to a nearby park (link at the end of this description) for more play/hang out time! This should be lots of fun and hopefully we'll clean out our homes while getting some items we can use! We request you sign up on this event if you are planning on coming.
