A Big Bug Fest for Curious Kids and Families!

Do you love anything small with 6 or more legs? Logansport Parks and Recreation is teaming up with Purdue University Entomology Department to bring an unforgettable, up close and personal bug experience to our community!

What to Expect: 🔍
-Free community event for kids, adults and everyone in between
-Live insects from Purdue Entomology
-Learn cool (and surprising!) facts about insects
-Some insects to observe and gently touch
-Meet insects you've probably never seen up close before
-Bug themed crafts for kids
-Fuel up your body and brain on concessions for purchase

This event is perfect for anyone who loves nature, science and asking, "WHY DOES IT DO THAT?!" Come discover why insects are amazing, important, and honestly just really cool. We promise it's more fascinating than freaky! 🐌🫶
