Spintronics Workshop

Head to the library for some hands-on fun & play with our new Spintronics kits on September 12th from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Spintronics is a new game where players (ages 8 to adult) build mechanical circuits to solve puzzles. Players feel the pull of the voltage & see the flow of the current in real time. Electricity is abstract but Spintronics makes circuits touchable, tangible, & intuitive. We will also have our Turing Tumble kits set up for some fun with coding using marbles & physical manipulators.

Everyone age 8 & up is invited to stop in & get their hands on these amazing resources. Teachers & educators are especially welcome! Classroom kits will be available for check-out so this is the perfect time to see how you can fit Spintronics into your classroom.
