Join us in Logan, Kansas for a special full-day Santa painting workshop taught by Hope Blakely, featuring a beautiful design from Mary Carole Larson’s Hildi Santa series.

Yes… we’re painting Santa in April — and there’s a good reason for it.

Many of our regular painters asked for a chance to create their holiday artwork early, giving them time to:
✨ Display it during the Christmas season
✨ Repaint it later as gifts for family and friends
✨ Take their time perfecting the design at home

This is a start-to-finish, full-day workshop, and a bit more focused than a typical paint-and-sip. We’ll be moving with purpose to complete the painting by the end of the day — but don’t worry, you’ll be guided every step of the way.

One of the most special parts of this painting is the series of bubbles woven into the design. These can be personalized however you’d like — family members, grandkids, favorite places, memories, or meaningful symbols. You’ll learn how to plan and paint them so they feel like part of the story, not just decoration.

And yes — you’ll be painting a person… but it’s Santa 😉
No pressure for a perfect likeness here — just a fun and approachable way to explore portrait techniques.

📍 Location: Logan, Kansas (hosted through the museum)

🍕 Lunch Options:
Bring your own lunch, or take advantage of a local pizza restaurant in town. You’ll have time to step out or coordinate an order, and the museum will help with logistics.
