Meet Karo & Stazy ☀️
From a young age, Karo has been all about art in every form. She started out with five years of folk dance, then spent three years as a pro cheerleader performing at huge sports events all over Poland. But it was Hustle that stole her heart - and it quickly became her biggest passion. 💃
Now, Karo teaches Hustle at two of Wrocław’s top dance schools and is also part of the Crystal Hustle project, helping the next generation of dancers grow. Over the last years her creativity and commitment haven’t gone unnoticed - she took 1st place in Jack & Jill at the international Hustle Heat, and with her crew The Crystals she grabbed 2nd place in Crew vs. Crew at Share The Vibe.
Stazy has been connected to dance for over 15 years - his main background is street dance and breaking, but he also draws inspiration from contact improvisation and his knowledge of movement and the body, which is very much reflected in his dance style. He first discovered New Style Hustle back in 2014 at SDK Europe in the Czech Republic. At the start, he learned mostly from dancers in Brno, and later from Jeff Selby, Tboy, Miss Bibi, and Inga.
In 2015, he started organizing events and teaching regular Hustle classes in Wrocław which laid a foundation for building the local Hustle scene. For the past few years, he’s been involved in a project called Crystal Hustle, inviting new generations of talented Wrocław hustlers to join in. Over the last 10 years, he’s brought in more than 20 international instructors and hosted countless events, including big ones like Create The Hustle and Hustle Up.
Stazy’s work has been recognized worldwide - he’s been invited to teach in Japan, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and Italy. He’s judged Hustle contests at major festivals like SDK Europe and The Week, and nowadays you’ll often find him MC’ing at big Polish events. 🎤
The classes are intended for intermediate and advanced dancers (roughly minimum 6 months of dancing Hustle once a week). So yes – if you can already step to the &123 count, you’ll definitely find something for yourself!
The number of spots is limited, so if you’re interested, don’t hesitate to sign up!
