BVBG is excited to host a local, two-part Beginning Beekeeping workshop! This class is only being offered once this spring - seating is limited. 🐝
Beginning Beekeeping Workshop, Saturday, January 31st, 2026 (9am to 5pm), Lodi
Students will learn about the equipment needed to keep bees, the basics of bee biology, and what to look for when caring for a hive. Our experienced Guild beekeepers and Instructors will provide you with the practical knowledge to get started.
Class fee includes a full day classroom workshop on Feb. 1st and an optional field day in our Guild educational apiary with live bees (date TBA). Although this workshop is designed for the absolute “new bee”, it serves as a fantastic refresher for those in their first years of beekeeping!
