Spend the afternoon strolling into businesses throughout downtown Lockport collecting holiday cookies and viewing the seasonal window murals. Each ticket includes a branded tote and a route tag outlining the businesses where cookies can be collected. There are also some bonus stops!
The fun begins at the NEW State Street Mistletoe Market located in the Metra Parking Lot on State Street between 14th & 15th Streets. Curated by Chicago Street Markets, a line-up of over 30 local makers, artists, and small businesses will bring their best holiday finds. There will also be a chance to visit with a certain jolly ol’ elf, sponsored by the Lockport Chamber of Commerce.
Between 10:30-11:30am, Cookie Walk ticket holders will start the adventure at the Market, checking-in at the registration table to receive a tote and route tag. Which route to take is determined at the time of ticket purchase – either Mistletoe Trail or Gingerbread Way.
Mistletoe Trail includes: Public Landing; White Oak Library District; Blue Collar Supply; Cornolo Travel; Perfectly Linked; Rainbow Council, Scouting America; Ameri-Cutz Salon; Realtopia Real Estate; Beanie’s Candy Store; Mamma Onesta’s Italian Restaurant, Submarine City; and The Old Wood Store.
Gingerbread Way includes: Second City Greens; the Gaylord Building; Canals & Trails Credit Union; Mangia Pizza; Amazing Fantasy Books & Comics; Marchio Tile & Carpet; Citywide Title; Jackie’s Pub; Embers; Thimbles; Tallgrass Restaurant; and Nicola’s Heavenly Cucina.
The following will be on Both Routes: Gallery Seven; Stella’s on State; Healthy Sins, Inc./The Vegan Café; Krema Coffee Roasters; Oh! Design Group; State Street Restaurant; and Studio 305.
There are also BONUS stops including the Lockport Chamber of Commerce (at the Market); The Corner Salon; Villa Nova Pizza; Lockport Express Medical; Crumbl Cookies; Torro Mexican Cuisine; Oasis Mexican Kitchen & Bar; Patriot Pilates; The Donut Shop; and the Jingle Bell Jam at Dellwood Park (4:30-6:00pm)! Each one has limited goodies, so make them part of your early stops!
Tickets only need to be purchased for those collecting cookies. Anyone tagging along for the fun does not need a ticket.
