Learn about which plants can be used as a tasty winter snack, trees best suited to make walking thumbsticks and wreaths, the practical uses of hard and soft woods, and aim to hunt out particular mushrooms and berries that are abundant at this time of year. We will also look to identify edible and poisonous lookalikes, and sample some of the edibles along the way. Plus enjoy a warm mulled wine in the woods with us whilst we explore!Walk distance - around 2 miles (circular), on uneven ground.We will be meeting outside the Vench Adventure Playground, Romney Avenue.What to Bring?Notepad, pen and camera, snacks and refreshments for on the day.
