Dance the night away with Kinross based award winning Pure Scotch Ceilidh Band, winners of the MG Alba Na Trad Awards Scottish Dance Band of the Year 2024. Don't worry if you haven't ceilidh danced before. No previous ceilidh dancing experience is required as our dance caller will be on the floor with you, showing you all the moves for a variety of upbeat lively ceilidh dances, and a few more sedate ones if you need a bit of a breather! The main thing is you have fun.
Enjoy the first class entertainment provided by the incredibly popular Spirit of Scotland Show Host, recording artist and broadcasting singer/ songwriter, Bruce Davies and Kinross's very own Grade 1 piper, Douglas Mair, formerly of the Kinross and District Pipe Band and now a member of the 2023 World Pipe Band Champions, The Peoples Ford Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia Pipe Band.
There will be a welcome drink on arrival for everyone and a plate of stovies later for sustenance!
Leave all your inhibitions at the door and join in the party games throughout the evening for some old fashioned, simple, silly fun.
After the 'Bells', the disco takes over to bring the evening's celebrations to a close.
Most importantly, raising funds for The Lighthouse for Perth and their vital support work.
Under 18's must be accompanied at this event by a responsible parent or guardian at this event.
