JAYK WALKR:

Performer blues di New York City, Jayk Walkr è una stella del
circuito blues internazionale. L’approccio di Jake al Blues fonde il
meglio della più classica tradizione blues con sonorità di New Orleans
e Jam Bands, e materiale originale di ottimo livello, una combinazione
unica ed emozionante che gli ha permesso di conquistare migliaia di
fan anche in Europa, grazie ad una manciata di tour, molto apprezzati
dalla critica, nel centro Europa (Inghilterra, Italia, Olanda e
Belgio).
La prestigiosa rivista Big City Rhythm and Blues Magazine: “Uno dei
migliori suoni in circolazione!”, grazie appunto a un timbro vocale e
chitarristico che gli permettono di esplorare le profondità dell’anima
blues. Jake è stato a più riprese accostato a grandi come Otis Rush,
Freddie King e Peter Green.
Ha iniziato la sua carriera nella Tampa Bay in Florida per poi
raccogliere il successo definitivo a New York City.
Il suo primo album, "Confidence Man", è stato prodotto e mixato da
Elliot Mazer (Janis Joplin, Neil Young, The Band, Mike Bloomfield,
Santana). L’album vanta inoltre ospiti di tutto rispetto come Mark
Naftalin (il pianista originale della Paul Butterfield Blues Band) e
Arthur Neilson (chitarrista di Shemekia Copeland). L’album mette in
grande risalto una chitarra blues rovente e una voce ricca di soul.
L'album a tratti suona come un Freddie King d’annata e in altri
momenti può ricordare Ronnie Earl, ma è sempre Jake Walker, con il
tono caldo della sua chitarra a distillare emozioni.

Il chitarrista e cantante Franco "Fast Frank" Cersosimo è leader di
Fast Frank and the Hot Shout Blues, la formazione che ha costituito
nel 2000 reclutando i migliori strumentisti della scena jazz e blues
torinese.

Fast Frank ha compiuto ripetuti tour musicali a Chicago, la Mecca del Blues,
esibendosi a fianco di assi come Breezy Rodio, Linsey Alexander,
Rockin' Johnny, Rick Kreher(Muddy Waters band) e Dave Potter.
Il suo stile è radicato nella musica dei maestri del Chicago Blues.
