Με έδρα το Βερολίνο και κεντρική μορφή τον Craig Dyer, μουσικό και συγγραφέα από το Blackpool της Αγγλίας, το συγκρότημα εξελίσσει συνεχώς τον ήχο του από το lo-fi psych των πρώτων χρόνων, στο μεταφυσικό post-punk που το καθιέρωσε, μέχρι το νέο του κεφάλαιο, μια trip-hop καταβύθιση στη μελαγχολία και την αποδόμηση. Το “Décollage” (2025, Fuzz Club) είναι εξ’ ολοκλήρου γραμμένο, ηχογραφημένο και παραγωγικά επιμελημένο από τον Dyer. «Ήθελα να εφαρμόσω τη λογική του décollage στη μουσική: να χτίσω τοίχους από θόρυβο, και μετά να τους σκίσω για να ανακαλύψω κάτι νέο από τα απομεινάρια τους», εξηγεί ο ίδιος. Το αποτέλεσμα είναι ένα άλμπουμ που μοιάζει με soundtrack ονείρου – ένα μείγμα στατικού θορύβου, hip-hop beats, εγχόρδων à la Lee Hazlewood και μελωδιών εμπνευσμένων από Serge Gainsbourg. Από τις πρώτες κυκλοφορίες του ως solo project το 2008, μέχρι τη σημερινή του μορφή με τα μέλη Olya Dyer, Leonard Kaage και Samira Zahidi, το συγκρότημα έχει καταφέρει να διαμορφώσει ένα αφοσιωμένο κοινό σε ολόκληρο τον κόσμο, μέσα από ασταμάτητες περιοδείες σε Ευρώπη, Ασία και Αμερική. Νιώθουν πως παίζουν alternative rock, χωρίς να το έχουν συνειδητοποιήσει απόλυτα. Δημιουργήθηκαν ένα από τα πολλά απογεύματα σε ένα προβάδικο στα Γιάννενα, κάπου ανάμεσα από συζητήσεις για μουσική και δημιουργία, αναζητώντας τρόπους για να υπάρξουν συμβαδίζοντας με την πραγματικότητα. Ακολούθησε ο πρώτος τους ολοκληρωμένος δίσκος A Better Me το καλοκαίρι του 2022. Λίγο καιρό πριν, παρουσίασαν και την πιο πρόσφατη δουλειά τους, το EP Generation Of Identity Crisis.
