Join practicing herbalist and certified horticulturist Mackenzie Laurin for a guided evening walk along the beautiful trails of Bud Miller Park, Lloydminster. Celebrate the shifting of the seasons- the return to light- with an evening dedicated to the study of our resilient local flora; those hardy few that persist through our prairie winters. 

What to Expect
This 2-hour walk will highlight trees and shrubs of cultural, ecological, medicinal, and culinary significance.

Tickets: (limited to 15 people)
General Admission: $40/ person
Children under 12 attend for free- but must be accompanied by an adult!

About Your Host:
Mackenzie Laurin is the founder, horticulturist, and practicing herbalist behind The Ladybird Company; where her work is a reflection of her lifelong study of the natural world. She graduated from the Horticulture Technologist diploma program at Olds College, where she focused her studies on native ecosystem restoration, permaculture, and ethnobiology. Following college, she continued her education through independent study, fieldwork, and everyday practice; delving into the studies of herbal medicine, nutrition, 	ethnobiology, and the biological sciences. She began to explore the threads that weave together health, ecology, and culture; it was in this intersection that The Ladybird Company was born.
