Monthly Social Hub - Clive Slade - The wonder and humour of Travel - Alaska Galapagos and Antarctica

Hello Marauders ☀️

On the 10th November we have our regular monthly meeting discussing our group the charity and its future. We also welcome Clive Slade.

Clive has a lot of life experiences and will share his journey with us. Clive lives in Tonteg and has been a School Teacher a Cardiff City bus driver and has driven for the Welsh Blood Service. He is also part of a local men’s shed that deliver incredible support to men to connect with others in a workshop environment in the community.

He has been a keen traveller for many years and his escapades around the world seem incredible. He has travelled over 50 countries. From Antarctica to Alaska and Galapagos his stories are incredible. Discussions such as - “Being chased by a black bear” and why you never see a dead penguin in natural history films?
Clive has a lot of stories to share and they will be fascinating to hear I’m sure.
