Participants will be guided through prompts and exercises to create their own work before being invited to share. 8th August – Myths & Legends: Stories from the Shadows Facilitated by Daisy Green A stand-alone workshop delving into the rich world of myths, legends and folklore. Through discussion, prompts and creative exercises, participants will create poetry and prose inspired by ancient tales, local legends and imagined worlds, with opportunities to share. 9th August – Crossing the Veil: Thresholds and Descent Facilitated by Stephen Kenyon An exploration of the emotional and imaginative power of threshold spaces, inviting participants to create from the moment of crossing. Through discussion and guided writing, this workshop explores journeys, transformation and the stories that begin when we step into the unknown. 29th August – Myths & Legends: Creating New Legends Facilitated by Daisy Green A stand-alone workshop inviting participants to reimagine old stories or create entirely new legends through poetry and prose. The session offers creative inspiration, writing time and the opportunity to share. 30th August – Myth as Remix: How Stories Mutate Across Time Facilitated by Stephen Kenyon Myths never remain still. They travel through generations, changing shape as they are retold through different voices, places and cultures. In this hands-on creative workshop, participants will explore how familiar myths evolve before choosing a story to reimagine in a new form. Through discussion, prompts and guided writing, you will create your own contemporary version through poetry, prose or storytelling. 26th September – Myths & Legends Spoken Word Event Hosted by Daisy Green & Stephen Kenyon Join us for a celebratory afternoon of poetry, prose and storytelling inspired by myths, legends and folklore.
