Cerys' breakthrough second album, Edyf, earned a place in The Guardian’s Top Ten Folk Albums of 2022, while their most recent release, The Bitter (2024), reimagines English and Scottish ballads with eerie precision and creative flair.

Described by Tradfolk as “likely to take a song that we all know so well and tilt it to one side”, Hafana’s live performances are rich in texture, emotionally resonant, and often spellbinding. They have enchanted audiences at Green Man, Celtic Connections, BBC 6 Music Festival, and the National Eisteddfod, emerging as a standout voice in the evolving world of contemporary folk.
