Flumie 2 is for practitioners already comfortable playing Flumies of all sizes who are ready to move beyond technique into artistry, intuition, and mastery. This weekend is very much more an experiential retreat rather than a learning platform.  

Over this immersive weekend, we will explore the subtleties of the BLove Flumie Method, deepening our relationship with sound, silence, timing, and presence.

Together we will explore:

• Seamless transitions between Flumies, gongs, and sound textures
• Knowing when to introduce a new voice and when to let sound dissolve into silence
• The subtle language of harmonics and overtones
• Blending with another gong player to create a unified field of sound
• Greater sensitivity to pitch, resonance, and energetic movement within a sound journey
• Recognising the right sound at the right moment
• Honouring silence as a powerful element of the musical experience

We will also explore:

Gong & Shruti – weaving drone, harmony, and atmosphere into the sound field

The Fluminito – Bear’s latest Flumie creation

Throughout the weekend, participants will be encouraged to deepen their capacity for listening—not only with the ears, but with the whole body, heart, and awareness.

This is an invitation to move from playing instruments to becoming a conscious steward of sound; to cultivate a presence where technique becomes effortless and intuition awakens through full immersion in sound.

We will host a maximum of 5 participants.
