Brighton-based artist Liz Ikamba uses loop pedal, voice, electric guitar, and percussion to build rich, layered grooves, weaving a seamless fusion of sounds from across the Diaspora, from Soul and Reggae, to Soukous, Hip Hop, and Dub.

Singing in both Lingala and English, Liz tells a personal and ancestral story that also touches on universal themes of connection, longing, loss and celebration, whilst taking us on a breath-taking and interactive voyage, from DR Congo to the UK and beyond.
