ADO In-person Initiation Ceremony

Please note there is not charge for this event.

All members who have completed the Online course, regrdless of which year you completed it are welcome to undergo an initiation ceremony at Bryn Celli Ddi.
The purpose of this page to is glean an accurate number of those attending.

Timeline:
12 Noon, Sunday the 30th - Coach transport from outside the Bulckley Hotel, High street Beaumaris.
1pm - Initiation ceremony at Bryn Celli Ddu.
Friends and family are welcome to attend, but note that space on the coach is limited. One or two is fine, but it will be an issue if there are half a dozen people coming with you - so please, if this is the case, they need to find their own way to the monument. But by all means book a +1 or a +2 to accompany you on the coach.

Approx 230pm, return by coach to Beaumaris.
We have arranged some hot food for you all at the Bold Arms pub in Beaumaris upon return to the town.

This is Wales in winter, please do not underetsimate the weather or temperature. Dress appropriatetly, warmly, with good waterproof footwear. Bring hats, gloves, large cloaks, anything that will keep you warm - it is likely to be FREEZING and windy. Bryn Celli Ddu is and exposed location, our Westerly weather can change in a heartbeat. Please be prepared.

You will not need to bring anything with you other than yourselves. Order members will take care of anyone who is there to witness the ceremony.

Note: The distance from the coach park to the site is a ten minute walk down a narrow gravelled pathway which is mostly flat.
