Na delavnici se bomo osredotočili na tri elemente – ritme, slajde in znano koreografijo Tranky Doo. Osnovne figure bomo obogatili z različnimi ritmičnimi vzorci ter dodanimi slajdi. Navdih bomo črpali tudi iz znane koreografije Tranky Doo, ki jo je sestavil Frankie Manning okoli leta 1940. Raziskovali bomo gibe, ki jih tam najdemo, jih vključili v improvizacijo in se seveda naučili tudi izvirne koreografije.

Rhythms, slides and Tranky Doo - Thematic Solo Jazz course

In this workshop, we will focus on three elements—rhythms, slides, and the famous Tranky Doo choreography. We will enrich the basic figures with various rhythmic patterns and added slides. We will also draw inspiration from the famous Tranky Doo choreography, created by Frankie Manning around 1940. We will explore the movements found there, incorporate them into improvisation, and, of course, learn the original choreography as well.
