Na dvodnevnem laboratoriju bomo gibalno in performativno raziskovale_i in utelešale_i pojem moškosti. S pomočjo različnih orodij iz sveta fizičnega in objektnega gledališča, plesa in performansa, bomo razvijale_i telesni gib in prezenco, s katerima lahko ustvarjamo prostor sporočilnosti telesnih podob. Tematsko odkrivanje razsežnosti spolno zaznamovanega izraza ter preizpraševanje le-tega bo nase glavno vodilo. Delo bo tako individualno, kot tudi v skupini, kjer bomo delile_i načine izmenjave in tako svoj izraz se nadgrajevale_i. Skozi številne aktivnosti, tako spoznavalne in ogrevalne, kot tudi vsebinske, bomo poskusile_i oblikovati kompozicijo, oz. naracijo, ki jo bomo en_a drugi_emu predstavile_i. 

Udeležba na delavnici je zaželena oba dneva. Odprta je za vse z navdihom, ne glede na spol ali gibalno-performativne izkušnje.

Mentor_ica: Slobodan's new materialisms alias Slobodan Malić začne z nastopanjem že v zgodnjem otroštvu. Univ. dipl. sociolog_inja in francistka, se od leta 2013 ukvarja z različnimi žanri uprizoritvenih umetnosti. Izobražuje se in ustvarja kot performer, gibalka, igralec, drag umetnica_k, producent_ka in scenaristka. Nastopa tako v avtonomnih prostorih, kot tudi v institucionaliziranih. Dolga leta je deloval_a v kvirovsko feminističnem kolektivu Rdeče zore. Kar nekaj časa je ustvarjala v kolektivih FEM TV in Kabaret Tiffany. Sodeloval_a je z različnimi zavodi (Mesto žensk, Via Negativa, KUD LJUD) in ustvarjalkami_ci. Spoznala se je tudi z gledališčem zatiranih ter se leta vsestransko razvijala v doživljajskem gledališču Slepa ulca. Raziskovalno ga (med drugim) zanimajo meje sodobne uprizoritvene umetnosti ter tematike spolno zaznamovanih praks, hegemone moškosti in razmerij moči, doma in migrantstva, razreda in kulturnega kapitala ter vloge umetnosti kot take. Od leta 2019 živi in deluje med Berlinom in Ljubljano.

In this 2-day workshop, we will explore and embody the concept of masculinity through movement and performance. Using various tools from the world of physical and object theatre, dance, and performance, we will develop bodily movement and presence, which can be used to create a space for the communication of body images. Thematically discovering the dimensions of gendered expression and questioning it will be our main guiding principle. We will work both individually and in groups, sharing ways of sharing and thus building on our expression. Through a number of activities—both cognitive and warming-up, as well as contextual—we will try to form a composition or narrative that we will present to each other. 

The workshop is a two-day event, and attendance at both sessions is strongly encouraged. It is open to anyone who feels inspired, regardless of gender or experience in movement or performance.

Mentor: Slobodan’s New Materialisms alias Slobodan Malić started performing at an early age. Univ. B. Sc. sociologist and French Linguist, works with various genres of performing arts since 2013. They continue her education and create as a performer, movement artist, actor, drag artist, producer and screenwriter. They perform both in autonomous spaces and in larger, more institutionalized ones. He has been a member of the queer feminist collective Red Dawns for many years, creates in the collectives FEM TV and Cabaret Tiffany, and collaborates with various organizations (City of Women, Via Negativa, KUD LJUD) and artists. They also perform in a play with the Theatre of the Oppressed method and have been developing in all aspects in the immersive theatre Dead End for many years. Her research interests include limits of contemporary performing arts, topics of gendered practices, hegemonic masculinity and power relations, home and migration, class and cultural capital, and the role of art as such. Since 2019, he has lived and worked between Berlin and Ljubljana.
