Into the Woods Trail Run

Step into the wild and challenge yourself at Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia’s annual Into The Woods Trail Run, an exciting outdoor race hosted at Camp Martha Johnston in Lizella, Georgia! Set against the backdrop of our beautiful camp property and winding trails, this event invites runners of all ages and abilities to connect with nature! The diverse woods of Camp Martha Johnston (CMJ) is a peaceful 165-acre camp in the heart of Crawford County that has been owned and operated by Girl Scouts since 1925.

Whether you’re an experienced trail runner or just looking for a fun outdoor activity, Into The Woods Trail Run is open to everyone - businesses, families, military personnel, troops, and friend groups.
This is our invitation to share the Middle Georgia treasure that is Camp Martha Johnston!

All proceeds from the Into the Woods Trail Run go toward supporting Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, empowering young girls to build courage, confidence, and character as they learn new skills, make lasting friendships, and become leaders in their communities.
