First up, experience bold new work from our 2025 QueerCore artists: Claire Beerjeraz, Laura Bee Jones, Em Willzy and H.R.H. Aphrodite. Through performances and presentations, you’ll get a taste of what they’ve been creating whilst on the programme. Expect aliens, a mysterious M**der, lesbian puppets, and an invitation to embrace some radical rest. After a short interval, our Young Homotopia Panto returns with a fabulous queer retelling of Alice in Wonderland, where difference is celebrated, nonsense makes perfect sense, and queer joy rules the stage.QueerCore is Homotopia’s talent development programme for early-career artists. The programme runs for 6 months and offers tailored support for LGBTQIA+ artists in the Liverpool City Region to grow, build connections and develop new ideas. Homotopia would like to thank Converse for supporting QueerCore and making this work possible.Young Homotopia is a creative programme run by Homotopia in partnership with YPAS – GYRO. It is free to join and provides opportunities for LGBTQIA+ teenagers and young adults to explore their identities through performance. Sessions are led by Homotopia’s Development Producer Ashleigh Owen and several visiting practitioners.Access: All of our participating venues have level access and accessible bathrooms, and where possible events are interpreted with BSL and/or captions.Please contact hello@homotopia.net if you have any access queries or concerns we can help with, we're here to support you.
