# Event Details - **Event Name**: Pride in Recovery - **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 25 Oct, 2024 at 01:00 pm – Fri, 24 Apr, 2026 at 03:00 pm (+01:00) - **Event Description**: Peer support group for folx aged 18 and over, who identify as LGBTQ+ and experience substance misuse.About this EventThis drop-in group meeting is facilitated by Sahir House, Liverpool's largest & oldest LGBTQ+ charity.The meetings take place on the last Friday of the month in the Liverpool City Centre.The support group is held in the city, but covers the Liverpool City Region, and offers a safe and friendly space for folx who identify as LGBTQ+ and are experiencing substance misuse.This is an opportunity to meet others, support one another, chat and discuss issues affecting LGBTQ+ people. in addition to;- Signposting to services and further support- Information about LGBTQ+ health and wellbeingThe meeting runs from 1pm-3pm.Due to limited capacity, we ask those who would like to attend in person to book a place via Eventbrite. There will be a maximum of 8 attendees.This allows for a safe and manageable group session, creating a comfortable and relaxed experience for those attending.The Brink serve a variety of refreshments and hot & cold drinks, which are available at the counter.*By booking a place, you agree to registering as a service user at Sahir House.
