This new trio led by Guitarist Mike De Souza, will be performing all new original music, that draws upon sounds from contemporary jazz, rock and free jazz. Having attended both Leeds College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music, Mike has learnt from and performed alongside leading international jazz artists including, Dave Holland, Dave Douglas and Joe Locke, and since graduating in 2014, he has performed with Terence Blanchard on a 4 date tour of the North, as well as with many more top UK musicians. This trio also features two of the most exciting and distinctive rising stars from London’s vibrant jazz scene, drummer Jay Davis, and bassist Huw Williams.
