The Intern to Work programme, will give you a supported internship which is a work based Study Programmes for 16 to 25 year olds with SEND.This is where you can apply to undertake a work placement lasting 6 months where you will gain real life hands on experience in a workplace setting. A supported job coach will guide you every step of the way. On this programme the Interns will also enrol full time at a local college which will give them a personalised study programme, including English and Maths. The intern to work programme will give the young people a much needed boost with the hope of them finding part time or full time work by the end of it.Job coaches work with employers to help them create and support a diverse workforce.
