A French-Japanese rhythm section from King Salami & the Cumberland Three, Eric Baconstrip & Kamikaze U.T. Vincent, the Sly & Robbie of rock and roll, teaming up with Sweden’s garage-punk legend, Martin Savage (The Blacks, the Locomotions, Tokyo Knives, and a dozen more…). With the Jiggerz’ all you get are 1970’s punk rock hits, simple, fast & straight to the point, the way it should be. Petrichor have a Nirvanaesque shine to them, they take a grunge basic sound and then pulverise it into their own via a more Riot Grrl feel. The quieter downbeat parts are there then musical upheavals bring on the noise. Gritty one minute, soft the next and delivering a heart felt emotional punch lyrically.
