- **Event Description**: An evening of gentle crafting together towards love, hope and a better worldAbout this EventWelcome to Craft Love Community First Gathering!This is the first of what we hope will be a series of gatherings, where we come together to spend time doing whatever type of craft we enjoy (stitching, painting, making, knitting, something else …) whilst considering ways to use craft to make our community better.We will all bring whatever crafting activity we would like to work on, and explore how we can use our crafting to improve our communities. We will have gentle music, and perhaps some simple meditation, to help us think about what we would like to do following this first gathering.This event is free! We will be there between 6.30pm and 9pm, so feel free to come any time within that period, for as long as you like. Bring your own craft materials and buy a drink from our friends at OneFiveSix, who are letting us use their beautiful upstairs space. Unfortunately, there are stairs to the room we are using so it is not accessible to those with mobility issues. If this is you, get in touch – we will look for an alternative for our next session. We want everyone to feel welcome to join us!
