An Evening with Martin Barre (Jethro Tull)

Martin Barre renowned guitarist best known for his long-standing role (43 years) as lead guitarist in the iconic rock band Jethro Tull is coming to Liverpool! Join us as we welcome Martin for an author talk and Q&A. He’s also bringing along his guitar for an acoustic demo and may even play some of your Tull favourites! The evening finishes with an opportunity to meet Martin and get a signed copy of his new autobiography, A Trick of Memory.

Barre’s extraordinary guitar skills and innovative techniques have made him a legendary figure in rock music. Martin will tell his story of his musical journey, from his early days to achieving global success with Jethro Tull.

Books will be on sale at the event from Linghams Bookshop. A Trick of the Memory is published on 6 November 2025.
