If you’re tired of dodging triggers on your daily walks and you want a clearer path forward, this workshop will give you the skills and confidence to help your dog navigate the world more successfully.
With hands on exercises, video presentations from real case studies, live demonstrations with dogs, and guided discussions, you'll walk away with a whole new understanding of how to help your reactive dog.
What you’ll learn- How to understand your reactive dog to form a clear, realistic roadmap to recovery
- Leash handling skills so you can feel safe and in control, no matter what surprises you encounter on your walks
- How to reward your dog more effectively to help them learn faster and stay more engaged
- Ways to build in other reinforcers besides treats, helping your dog stay motivated in different situations
- How to build your dog’s responsiveness from low to high level distractions
- All about thresholds - how to recognize them, how to support your dog when they go over threshold, and how to work within the threshold optimal for learning

This workshop is also open to dog trainers, dog walkers, dog behavior enthusiasts, and rescue/shelter staff and volunteers.
