We’re thrilled to announce that Silver Lies by award-winning local author Ann Parker has been selected as the 2026 Livermore Reads Together featured book! 🎉

Set in the silver boomtown of Leadville, Colorado, in the late 1870s, Silver Lies (Book 1 in the Silver Rush Mysteries series) is a gripping Western mystery that introduces Inez Stannert, a saloon owner with a sharp mind and a hidden past. This is the first time a book by a local author has been chosen for the program—and we couldn’t be more excited!

📖 Join us in March for a month of Western-themed events, book discussions, and community fun inspired by this thrilling read. All events are free and open to the public, thanks to the support of the Friends of the Livermore Public Library.
