The highlight of this workshop will be the hands-on session photographing Hummingbirds at Chatfield Farms Botanic Gardens, In the critique session you will receive feedback and also see the photos from others which is a great learning experience.Part 1: Virtual Online Lecture:This will be a 2-hour lecture to help you set up your camera and plan to capture these fast-moving birds, the best lighting, and that perfect background during the practical session of this workshop.What You’ll LearnTechniques to produce sharp photosBack button focusTracking optionsBest camera setting to photograph these fast-moving birdsThe best places to photograph HummingbirdsThe direction of light to enhance your photographsComposition and backgroundThe equipment needed for photographing HummingbirdsPart 2: Shooting Workshop:Led by Mike’s Camera’s Scott Dougherty. You will have the opportunity to photograph Hummingbirds at Chatfield Farms Botanic Gardens. Scott will always be nearby to assist you with technical questions and provide hands-on instruction to ensure you execute best practices and capture the best shots possiblePart 3: Virtual Gallery and Critique:We will wrap up the workshop with a fun and rewarding critique. We’ll review your images from the shoot and share techniques that really worked, and those that were not as useful.
