At 4 pm Following Bumblebee park I'll be touring/speaking about the Reuben Hoar Library, Littleton, MA garden/slope. This was native plants installed in 2021/2022 with no plan or budget for maintenance and I have been the only overseer/attendent to its care(aside from an immensely helpful retired master gardener who does expert pruning in front!)

Both gardens are *active conservation efforts* to support *declining species* of plants, native bumblebees and butterflies. 

These *pollination systems* (plants and animals working in concert) undergird the entire food/life web. They are foundational for the ecological "services" we take for granted: carbon storage, air purification, water filtration, bird watching, recreation. They are critical to our ecosysem health on a macro level.

Alongside climate change we are in the midst of a biodiversity loss crisis. 

Biodiversy is resilience!
