Build-a-Buddy Pixel Art

Join us for a special pixel-art program in honor of one of our favorite video games! Using graph templates and simple art materials, participants will design their own block-style creatures inspired by the bright, bold look of classic handheld adventure games. Kids can recreate a favorite character or invent an original critter—anything goes as long as it fits the grid!

This hands-on workshop encourages creativity, pattern recognition, and retro-game nostalgia while staying fun and accessible for all ages. Whether you’re a longtime fan of creature-collecting games or just love pixel art, this is the perfect way to celebrate the day with color and imagination.
