About Adrienne Elrod
A native of Siloam Springs, Elrod has built a distinguished career in politics and strategic communications. She began her journey with an internship in the Clinton White House and has since served in key leadership roles on multiple presidential campaigns. Most notably, she was the Director of Strategic Communications for Hillary for America and later served as Biden for President’s Director of Surrogate Strategy and Operations during the 2020 general election. Following President Biden’s election, Elrod was appointed Director of Talent and External Affairs for the Biden Inaugural Committee, where she played a pivotal role in shaping an inclusive and widely praised inauguration event.
Most recently, Elrod served as Senior Advisor to the Kamala Harris for President campaign. She is also a regular contributor to NBC and MSNBC, where she provides political analysis informed by over two decades of experience. Outside of politics, she works with corporate, political, and nonprofit clients as President of Elrod Strategies, helping them navigate the complexities of Washington and the media landscape.
Throughout her career, Elrod has been a champion for women in politics, emphasizing resilience, determination, and the power of storytelling to drive meaningful change.

Our monthly speaker series brings newsmakers, policymakers, and seasoned political observers together for a behind-the-scenes look at the most pressing issues facing Arkansas. These lunch lectures raise money for the Arkansas Times Investigative Journalism Project. 100% of the proceeds will support expanding our newsroom, ensuring our capacity to hold leaders accountable and keep Arkansans informed.

In-person tickets are $100 and include lunch in the private dining room at the Copper Grill. Attendance is capped at 75, and previous events have sold out—so please don’t wait to secure your seat. Doors open at 11:30, and the Copper Grill buffet begins immediately afterward. The guest speaker will start shortly before noon, followed by a Q&A session. We will wrap up by 1 p.m. Virtual tickets are $50, providing you with Zoom access to the event and the opportunity to stay informed, no matter where you are.
