- **Event Description**: October 15 is International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. 
In each time zone around the world, bereaved families are encouraged to light a candle at 7:00 local time and allow it to burn for 1 hour such that the memorial flames will circle the globe for 24 hours.

This is a family friendly event, and a safe place to gather where EVERYONE understands the profound sadness that surrounds this unique grief.

There is no cost to attend.
 
We encourage guests to wear special memorial T-shirts if you have the, and to bring your baby's pictures. 

Please arrive a bit early and find a place to sit on the steps. 

Please be aware of the weather and prepare for wind and cold. 

In the event of rain, we will move our event down the street 1 block to the victory building covered parking area.

IMPORTANT: Please send an email to treasured@arkansaswaveoflight.com to submit your baby's name to be displayed on our memorial slide show. 

All names from previous years are still on the list, so if you attended last year and you saw your baby's name on the slide show, it will still be there. If there is any doubt, simply send an email to the above address and we will double check for you.

NOTE: Open flames are not allowed on capitol grounds. We will have plenty of LED candles.
