Come experience the transformative power of a 30 minute, all ages are welcomed sound bath with healing sounds that harmonizes our entire being by utilizing sound vibrations and frequencies to unlock profound relaxation, alleviate stress, balance our energy centers, heighten sensory awareness, cultivate self-regulation, and nurture emotional healing. This therapeutic approach employs instruments to guide us toward a profound state of mental, emotional, and physical harmony. 

The Mayor’s Fitness Challenge is a six-week program to engage and encourage Little Elm stakeholders with their wellness journey. Whether individual or family, young or old, The Rec™ is here to help everyone on their journey to being a better version of themselves.

We hope this program can kick-start wellness journeys across Little Elm and show community members the benefits at The Rec at The Lakefront™. From group exercise to a one-of-a-kind fitness floor to personal and small-group training, The Rec™ can help anyone on their journey to wellness.

During the program, participants will be split into teams and work towards earning points by completing various weekly tasks.  There will be prizes for the participants with the most points at the end of the challenge.

The Challenge runs March 16-April 26!

The fee to participate is $30 for individuals or $70 for families. The family rate covers six immediate family members residing in the same household. Family memberships accommodate one or two heads of household, and all dependents must be under 23 years of age.

Those participating in the program will set personal goals for weight loss or fitness and receive weight loss tips, wellness coaching, workout instruction, and nutrition advice. Participants will also receive a 30-minute free personal training session, a T-shirt, and a swag bag.

We will hold a variety of health and wellness seminars such as nutrition, kinetics, finance, cooking, and mental health. Group activities will include kickball tournaments, chair volleyball, parent and me yoga, and Flow Rider Friday!
