As we approach the 40th anniversary of the program's start, we are so excited to celebrate the impact of the program and our shared love of Scotland together at the Minnesota Scottish Fair & Highland Games! Tickets cover entry to the Minnesota Scottish Fair & Highland Games and access to the Wisconsin in Scotland/Experience Scotland VIP tent and associated activities. When purchasing tickets, you will be prompted to register a profile in Handbid which can later be used to participate in the silent auction, if you wish. Auction Regardless of whether you are able to join us on July 18, all are welcome to participate in a silent auction of some of our most prized possessions from Dalkeith House - the wooden desktops! These desktops are graffitied with decades of student wisdom and are a unique time capsule of our years at Dalkeith House. Photos of all desktops will be posted and available for individual bidding on this site closer to the event date. Event Schedule A tentative schedule of events can be found below: 8:00am | Gates open for the Minnesota Scottish Fair & Highland Games. Come early to enjoy live music, listen to the pipe & drums, watch the Scottish heavy games, marvel at the Highland dance competitors, and shop at the Scottish Marketplace. Events will be occurring throughout the day, and food trucks will be available. Check out the Minnesota Scottish Fair & Highland Games website for the full itinerary. 11:00am | Anniversary welcome - Join your fellow alums, faculty, and staff at the Wisconsin in Scotland/Experience Scotland tent for a welcome and kick-off to our 40th anniversary celebration. Bring your old scrapbooks and photos as we share memories together. 12:00pm | Parade of Clans - We will meet at the track to participate in the Parade of Clans as the Wisconsin in Scotland/Experience Scotland clan! Kilts are optional but highly encouraged! 2:00pm | Anniversary program - Join us back at the Wisconsin in Scotland/Experience Scotland tent for a formal program celebrating the legacy of our shared experiences in Scotland 5:00pm | Closing ceremonies for the Minnesota Scottish Fair & Highland Games 6:30-8:00pm | The anniversary celebration wouldn't be complete without a traditional Scottish ceilidh.
