Beginner Birding 101 with Birds Georgia

Come learn about birding from Birds Georgia and see what common species are active at our park.

About this Event

Want to get into birding? Come learn about the common birds of DeKalb County from Birds Georgia's Sheridan. We'll listen to bird calls and songs, discuss field markings of common species, and practice binocular skills. All levels of birders are welcome but beginners are especially invited. Bring binoculars (loaner binoculars are available if you don't have a pair) and wear comfortable footwear as we'll be on our feet for about 1.5 miles of walking. This program will not happen in inclement weather.
