Litter pick of the footpath from Edward Jenner Avenue to Switch Island Retail Park

This footpath is looking grim, so it's time for a proper clean-up! If you can pop down on Wednesday to lend a hand anytime from 11am-2pm, even if it's just for 15 minutes to fill a bag, that would be great. We'll have bags and litter pickers available. Come and see Fred in the high-vis jacket and he can sort you out with some kit.

Big thanks to Cllr Joe Johnson for offering to lend a hand on the day and providing collection for the bagged rubbish! Fabulous.

Mother Nature has kindly provided free blackberries for this event! There are thousands of them along the path at this time of year. You might want to bring a container and make yourself a smoothie afterwards at home to congratulate yourself on being a local hero.
