Come join us as we return for this summer workshop in Hampshire , for this tender and liberating way in to drawing life drawing the beauty and aliveness.
Time to gather, to touch in, to receive .. to draw and draw and move and be moved.

Life drawing in this way, we are centred in presence, being in the body, in the moment. Open to beginner & experienced Artist. An instinctive approach cultivating our responsiveness to express with freedom.

Whether you are experienced or believe you can’t draw at all, you will find yourself moving into relaxed seeing and relating to the movement and the poses of the models and in turn seeing life with a renewed sense of wonder.

This practice provides a space for opening our creativity, experimentation and expression and becoming more present with ourselves, our materials, these fibres of life , and each other.

Together we will connect with these senses and explore the richness and vitality of what it means to be drawn by life.
You will be encouraged to rest, to pause to move and relax into the mark, gesture, movement made on to the paper and be led into the natural meditative state of presence.

This approach will encourage you to develop a fluent and rich drawing language. You will begin to cultivate a capacity to move more freely between felt presence, sensing, seeing and gesture. Open to beginner & experienced artists.

It is life drawing with a big emphasis on the LIFE, the feeling, empathy, widening our seeing, tuning into our own body to sense subtleties, dynamics, the humanity and presence that then allows us to capture the particular rhythms, the poetry the qualities of the moment.

Over these days you will be given the space to relax – physically and mentally – into a safe, pleasurable, free creative space. You will be invited to connect & play with a range of natural materials, immersing in the qualities and reflections of the elements , encouraged to let each instrument; hand or feather show you their way of drawing .
As the pose touches you, you touch the paper and you touch something in yourself – it is from here that authentic drawing emerges. Rather than you doing the drawing, the drawing is done through you.
Our traces of encounter are our marks on paper that can endure with vitality, a creation that is beyond time.

????? ???????? leads a small group and is accompanied by dear friends longtime collaborators. Who are deeply experienced in this practice. Artists and movers who bring insight and beautiful natural movement to life. 

All three of us bringing sensitive and alive responsiveness through our bodies whether in a duet or alone embodying the essence of ‘The Muse'. Together this all creates the beautiful inspiration, that touches into our heart and soul liberating the creative.

Working with recorded and sometimes live music ; an atmosphere is created of inspiration and sensitivity. This informs the truth of the models gestures and a freedom within our own ability to respond to the moment. You will be given helpful individual guidance to ensure you get the most from the course. She is a dedicated and passionate encourager of all people to open to their unique and innate creative wisdom.

Morag is a trained/practicing Artist & creative mentor. She was honoured to work alongside and travel with Meriel gold ( taught by Cecil Collins ) giving 'Drawnhome' courses in Uk and NYC for over 15 years. She a Dancer & founder of Lifeline Arts & life sensing and facilitated with the 'Dancingtao' collective, now 'Unbound Moving Arts'. Morag has been working with this body/presence movement - drawing practice, teaching in groups and 1-1 with children and adults for 20 years.
Morag’s teaching is supported by her background in the healing arts, influences of a wide range of movement work and her training in therapeutic sexual psycho-somatic practices.
