The humble tea cosy takes centre stage this June, with craft, colour and community on display at the Lismore Regional Gallery.

This event has two parts. You can enter your own handmade tea cosy in the competition, or simply come along on Friday and Saturday, 19 and 20 June, to view the exhibition, enjoy free tea and coffee, and vote for your favourite.

If you are heading into town for the Lantern Parade, make sure you stop by the Gallery while you are there and check out the entries.

Entries are open in three categories:

- Sewing
- Knitting
- Crochet

There will be a small prize for each category winner, along with a People’s Choice winner voted by exhibition visitors.

Entry fee: $1 per piece, payable on drop-off day
Submissions due: Wednesday, 17 June (but last-minute submissions will still be accepted)
Exhibition open: Friday and Saturday, 19 and 20 June
Winners announced: 3pm, Saturday, 20 June
Collection: From Monday, 22 June

Visitors will also have the option to purchase pieces over the exhibition weekend.
