Come get your groove on before and after the Lismore Lantern Parade with an all-ages day of hip-hop workshops, freestyle cyphers, live music, and community vibes.

Join local dancers and performers Mitch King & Tess Eckert of Flow Collective, for a playful, beginner-friendly community dance event celebrating movement, creativity, connection, and self-expression — while helping support our journey to the US to attend Surfing the Creative, an international creative residency exploring arts and social change.

No dance experience needed — everyone is welcome.

EVENT SCHEDULE
☀️ Afternoon Dance Cyphers
1PM–4PM | 10 County Lane, Lismore

Throughout the afternoon we’ll run 3 rotating workshop + cypher sessions.

Each session includes:

30-minute hip-hop foundations workshop
15–20 minute community cypher/dance circle
Come for one session or stay for them all.

Enjoy the parade, grab some food, and reconnect later in the evening.

? Evening Block Party
8PM–10PM

? DJ’d music cyphers with Mitch
? Live music + freestyle sessions
? Open dance floor/community jam
