While there we gave a concert, a recital at the Pontifical Irish College and sang for Anglican and Catholic liturgies. We are delighted to be bringing that same concert of Irish and Scottish sacred music to St Patrick's in Lisburn. Our programme features some brand new music specially written for the choir for our Rome trip by local composer Liam Friel and also myself.The concert will feature our choir and soloists, and we will be joined by Frasier Hickland on piano and Davog McCaffrey on whistle. Bronagh and Seamus McClean will also be joining us, a mother and son team. 14 yr old Seamus is an All Ireland Champion uilleann piper and whistle player, and the only person to have won 4 All Ireland gold medals in one day, so it will be very special to hear him play.
