ABOUT THE LABORATORY
An intensive exploration of movement as the foundation of artistic creation.
We will observe movement in everyday life and in nature, exploring how every action generates a reaction - and how this simple law gives rise to expression.

- Investigation of tempo, rhythm, energy and dynamics, rather than superficial imitation.

- This laboratory is designed for actors, performers, dancers, and creators interested in deepening their physical and expressive awareness.
- It also serves as a foundation for further work in clowning, mask performance, and Commedia dell’Arte.
- It will, as well, be beneficial for curious souls who are eager to explore their physicality and the impact they create on people around them when they move.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Carlos García Estévez (Madrid, Spain) is a Founder and artistic director of Manifesto Poetico, Carlos is an actor, pedagogue, director and researcher with over 25 years of international experience.
A graduate and a long-term collaborator of Jacques Lecoq’s École Internationale de Théâtre and the Laboratory for the Study of Movement (LEM) in Paris.
Carlos explores the boundaries between the visible and invisible, transforming movement into a language of imagination, emotion and connection.
