𝗢 𝗾𝘂𝗲 é 𝗼 𝗝𝗮𝘇𝘇 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗲?O Jazz Manouche surge em França, em meados dos anos 30, como expressão musical do povo cigano de etnia manouche e o grande impulsionador foi Django Reinhardt.Django teve uma forte influência do swing norte-americano (Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington ou Coleman Hawkins) bem como das suas raízes e heranças familiares.

A afirmação da música de Django na europa tornou-o um dos primeiros jazzman europeus e deixou um legado musical que nos chega até aos dias de hoje com muitos festivais e músicos talentosos.

We welcome all musicians who wish to participate in this jam session.

Whether you're a seasoned musician or just starting out, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with other music lovers, showcase your skills and play for dancers.

If you are hesitant about joining a jam session, there's a workshop at 6pm  is the perfect solution to build your confidence and skills before the Jam.

Jazz Manouche emerged in France in the mid-1930s as a musical expression of the Manouche gypsy people, and the great promoter was Django Reinhardt.Django was strongly influenced by North American swing (Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington or Coleman Hawkins) as well as his family roots and heritage.

The affirmation of Django's music in Europe made him one of the first European jazzmen and left a musical legacy that continues to this day with many festivals and talented musicians.
