A fun and intensive two day workshop where students will learn how to create simple prosthetic appliances using the most up to date techniques and materials as used by industry professionals the world over.
The workshop will cover:
- Designing and sculpting a simple wound or scar.
- Making a one piece, flat mould of the sculpture.
- How to create an encapsulated silicone prosthetic appliance from the mould.
- Applying and painting the finished prosthetic appliance.
Students will have hands on experience throughout the entire workshop to create their own unique, professional quality prosthetic appliance.
Suitable for both complete novices or those with more experience who wish to expand their skills; students will receive expert and individual guidance at every stage of the process.
This Workshop is limited to 6 students.
