- **Event Description**: As many of you know, Roxy was recently diagnosed with endometrial cancer. She had to travel to Sioux Falls, SD for a hysterectomy, but a few days before surgery, she fell and broke her wrist. (Talk about kickin’ a girl when she’s down.)  Surgery is done and Roxy made it back home to rest (but she doesn’t know what that word means).  We now play the waiting game for the pathology report to see what the next phase will be. She will also finally be getting a cast on her wrist (hopefully no surgery needed).   We are doing this fundraiser to help our girl out with medical bills, travel expenses, and anything she may need beings work could be a little difficult for a while.   Roxy has reached the same status as Cher, Madonna, Reba…in our communities. When you hear “Roxy” people know right away who you’re talking about. Despite the many tragedies and sorrows she’s faced over the years, she ALWAYS shows up and shows out for everyone else. The amount of lives she has touched in our communities is unfathomable.   So, this is our turn to show up and show out for Roxy. Let’s “Rally for Roxy” and show her our love and support, and let her know how much we appreciate her. She truly is one of the greatest gifts and we want to let her know, we got you, girl! Your fight is our fight!   Thank you all for supporting this fundraiser.
