Across six one-man sketches, Jon moves between funerals, meditation centres and graduation ceremonies, attempting (with varying degrees of success) to make sense of the end of all things.The sketches are woven together with more traditional stand-up comedy, as Jon explores our relationship with change and our attempts to deal with it. Expect absurd characters, questionable philosophy, an appearance by Jesus Christ, and considerably more jokes than the subject matter would suggest.Jon Parnell is a British-Canadian comedian and founder of Alpine Fools, Salzburg's stand-up comedy collective. In 2023, Salzburger Nachrichten named him "Salzburger of the Week", and in 2025, he was featured on ORF. His previous solo show debuted in Salzburg in 2022.An opening act is provided by the hilarious local Valentin Lischka.The show is performed entirely in English.Admission is €10, payable in cash at the door.
