After exploring the techniques Grandfather Mountain Natural Resources staff use to promote native species in the park, we’ll head into the woods for hands-on experience removing invasive plants. Participants will learn non-native species identification, management practices that can be used at home and how some invasive “weeds” can have practical (even culinary) uses! Tickets for this event go on sale online on Grandfather Mountain’s website March 25 at 10 a.m. Advance registration required.
