Thriftway Parking Lot on October 11th
Competition and tasting will be held alongside the Mid Mo Moonshiners car show.
The tasting will be held from 4-6 pm.
Cost to enter cook-off is $20 if preregistered and $25 if registering on day of the event.
Checks may be made to Linn Community Betterment Assoc. or LCBA. Checks can be mailed to Sally Phillips 1114 E Lee St. Linn, MO 65051 along w/name of the contestant.
Rules for contestants:
1. Check in at the welcome table no later than 3:45 pm. Make sure your chili is warm and ready to go.
2. At least one person must be representing your chili throughout the competition.
3. Prepare a minimum of 3 quarts of chili and a maximum of 6 quarts. You may supply toppings for your chili to enhance the tasting experience.
4. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize.
LCBA will supply two tokens and tasting of all the chilis for $3. You may then vote on your two favorite chilis or give both tokens to one favorite.
LCBA will be selling bowls of chili and assorted soups for $5 in a to go bowl or take a seat and eat right there.
